As a number of Lady Gaga’s releases remain active on Billboard’s genre sub-charts, here’s an updated look at the singer’s career pure album sales in America.

Debut project ‘The Fame’ (2008) remains the biggest album of her career. Still one of the top 10 best selling dance albums on a weekly basis, its release to date total recently crossed 4.8 million. ‘The Fame’ is best known for housing the international hits “Just Dance” and “Poker Face” (both Hot 100: #1).

Follow up extended play ‘The Fame Monster’ (2009) has notched up sales of 1.64 million. This total only represents sales of the eight track edition; versions including the original ‘Fame’ are factored into sales of the former album.

‘Born This Way’ (2011) now stands at 2.42 million and ‘ARTPOP’ (2013) has sold 776,000 pure copies. Both albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, with ‘Born This Way’ moving over 1 million copies in its first week.

Jazz standards collection ‘Cheek to Cheek’ (2014; recorded with Tony Bennett) has sales of 763,000 and latest album ‘Joanne’ (2016) sits at 628,000.

Altogether, Lady Gaga’s studio albums (including  ‘The Fame Monster’ EP) have sold a combined 11.03 million pure copies in the United States. That number ticks up to 11.46 million including ‘The Remix’ (315,000 sold), ‘Born This Way: The Remix’ (62,000 sold) and ‘A Very Gaga Holiday’ (45,000 sold).

Sales for all studio albums mentioned in this post are as of mid July 2018. ‘ARTPOP’ sales are estimated from its most recent re-entry on the charts this Spring. Sales for other EPs are as of February 2018.
