Adele’s blockbuster ’21’ album, which has sold in excess of 11 million pure copies in the United States, has now been listed on the Billboard 200 album chart for 350 consecutive weeks.
It’s the first album by a female artist to reach this milestone and the tenth overall.
’21’ is just the fourth studio album to hit 350 weeks, joining Pink Floyd‘s The Dark Side of the Moon (933 weeks), Metallica‘s Metallica (455 weeks) and Nirvana‘s Nevermind (380 weeks).
The next album in line for this milestone? Bruno Mars‘ Doo-Wops & Hooligans, which is still ranked after 348 weeks.
