Celine Dion’s comeback track “Ashes” got off to a smoldering start upon its release in early May this year, becoming the Canadian singer’s biggest success in America in over a decade.
Although it stopped short of the Hot 100 (peaking at #17 on the Bubbling Under chart), it does rise to the top of the Dance Club Songs chart for the week ending July 14. It’s her first leader on the chart in over a decade (when “Taking Chances” ascended to the top in February 2008).
Celine has now had a number one on the chart in each decade since she made her English language debut (1990s, 2000s and 2010s).
