Guns N’ Roses’ “November Rain” is the first 20th century recording to have its official video top the 1 billion mark on YouTube. It’s one of less than 120 official videos to do so overall.
The nine minute hard rock track originally peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1992, becoming the group’s second highest peaking chart hit. In addition, it’s the longest recording (by runtime) to ever enter the the chart’s top 10.
