Apple Music’s Year-End Charts

As the year draws to a close, Apple Music has shared its Top 100 charts for 2020. The streaming service has compiled a list of its most streamed songs, most Shazamed songs and, for the first time, most viewed lyrics.

Roddy Ricch lands the #1 single and album with “The Box” and Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial.

The Weeknd‘s “Blinding Lights” ranks at #2, having topped Apple Music’s charts in 62 countries and hitting the top 5 in 92 regions; it’s parent album After Hours finished as 2020’s 14th most listened to album.

Tones and I‘s “Dance Monkey” ranked at #3, also topping the Most Shazamed Songs list. As shared by Shazam last week, the song is also the service’s most scanned song in history.

DaBaby‘s “ROCKSTAR” ranks at #4 and Future‘s “Life Is Good” rounds out the top 5.

Harry Styles, Roddy Ricch, Billie Eilish, Mustard, Drake and DaBaby all placed multiple songs in the top 25 globally.

Also of note, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion‘s “WAP” had the most-read lyrics of the year, topping the first ever edition of this chart.
