After a two year absence, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has returned to the Billboard Hot 100.
Her track “Kream” with Tyga launches at #96 on this week’s issue (July 21, 2018). The track is aided by a top 10 debut on the US YouTube music video chart (#8 with 4.9 million clicks).
Iggy last appeared on the chart with “Team”, which debuted and peaked at #42 in Spring 2016. Between these appearances, her efforts “Mo Bounce” (#17 on Bubbling Under) and “Savior” (#7 on Bubbling Under) also managed to gain some traction.
Interestingly enough, featured artist Tyga is also experiencing a revival. His track “Taste” with Offset jumped to #30 for the July 7 issue and is expected to jump even higher this week. Like “Kream”, the music video for “Taste” ranks top 10 on US YouTube.
