After ceding the top spot to Luke Comb’s mammoth new single “Forever After All” for a single week, BTS’ “Dynamite” returns to #1 on the Digital Song Sales chart. The former Hot 100 #1 has now topped the U.S. based chart in ten non-consecutive weeks. It’s the longest running #1 hit since Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road”, which spent 16 weeks at #1 in 2019.
With over 1.093 million downloads sold to date in the region, it’s also the best selling digital single of the year. The second best selling download of the year, The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights”, has sold less than half of this total.
Also this week, the track became BTS’ longest charting song ever on the Hot 100.
I’m so happy for BTS. They really deserve it.
I’m so looking forward to their new song:
Life goes on.
Also looking forward to their new album BE on November 20.
Suga get well and I like his solo song as AugusD;
