As February kicks off, here’s an updated look at the fifty biggest daily streaming totals for songs in Spotify history (US). This list is not limited to debuts.
New additions in 2019
Ariana Grande – “7 rings”
Though it launched with the largest weekly Spotify total worldwide, “7 rings” couldn’t quite top the stateside performance of its predecessor (“thank u, next”) on a daily basis.
On the flip side, its three total entries make “7 rings” the song by a female artist with the most appearances.
J. Cole – “MIDDLE CHILD”
Debuting unconventionally on a Wednesday evening, “MIDDLE CHILD” got off to a phenomenal start and grew to new heights on its second full day of release.
With two appearances on the list, “MIDDLE CHILD” already shows signs of staying power that Cole’s other entry (2018’s “KOD”) ultimately did not possess.
